I figured I would expand on my Purview Information Protection information by creating a general guide around information protection labels. In this guide, I take a deeper dive into Purview Information Protection and provide you with some implementation examples that can be applied to just about any small business (plus one hypothetical that is more advanced).

This guide provides the following labeling scenarios:

  • Scenario 1: Let’s Just Mark What’s Confidential
  • Scenario 2: Contractors or other non-employee personas
  • Scenario 3: Departments
  • Scenario 4: Pull out all the stops

The goal here is to provide some ideas that you can expand upon to get more clients classifying their data.
